Medicare Insurance Plans

Medicare Part A – (Hospital Insurance)

Medicare Part A helps cover inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care, hospice care, and some home health care services. Patients are responsible for a hospital deductible and co-payments after 20 days in a skilled nursing facility.

Medicare Part C – (Medicare Advantage Plans) (HMO)

Medicare Advantage Plans are run by Medicare-approved private insurance companies. These plans include Part A and Part B, and usually offer additional benefits such as prescription drug coverage. Most plans require you to use doctors within a set network.

Medicare Part B – (Medical Insurance)

Part B provides coverage for doctor visits, preventive care, outpatient services, and medical supplies. Like Part A, patients may be responsible for deductibles and co-payments depending on their care.

Medicare Part D – (Prescription Drug Coverage)

Part D provides prescription drug coverage through private, Medicare-approved insurance companies. These plans help lower the cost of medications and protect against higher drug costs in the future.
